By signing up for VOM's FREE monthly newsletter, you will learn more about our suffering family members around the world. You will be encouraged by the testimonies of our Christian brothers and sisters who are persecuted for their faith and you will discover practical ways that you can become involved.
Voice of the Martyrs is committed to providing Support for prisoners and their families, and for the families of martyrs. Such Christians will not compromise their faith in Christ, even when tortured and abused in prisons. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are 'many members, but one body', and therefore, just as we 'rejoice with those who rejoice', so we also 'weep with those who weep' (Romans12:15), for 'if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it' (1 Corinthians12:20-26).
We are able through your kind donations to provide the support for families who may have their Pastor, husband or father in prison for their faith. Daily provisions, transport to visit their husband in prison with food, clothing and medicine are some of the practical ways we can partner to help.
Voice of the Martyrs is committed to Equipping and empowering persecuted believers. What We Do
Christians in restricted nations are cut off from the resources of the Body of Christ, particularly from Bibles and Christian literature, but also practical and material resources that facilitate ministry. Through its covert and specialised operations, Voice of the Martyrs empowers and equips persecuted believers by providing Bibles, Bible translations, training programs, Christian literature, aids for evangelism, radio broadcasts, vehicles, motorbikes and bicycles, computers for translation work, printing equipment, audio/video cassettes, tapes, CDs, and DVDs audio and video equipment, a variety of electronic equipment, musical instruments, and other practical supplies like life packs, mosquito nets, medical supplies, and equipment for underground churches (which may be as simple as a kerosene lamp).
Voice of the Martyrs is committed to Praying for persecuted Christians in their place of work and witness.
The Church in Western nations has abundant resources. The Lord has established this ministry for you, that you might be able to actively encourage and support your persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. There is no greater support than the fervent prayer of intercession. Contact our office to see where there is the nearest Prayer meeting that you may consider to get involved with. It is such an encouragement for those called to start a Prayer meeting to have others join with them to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Also, to help you learn to pray effectively, we have a free World Prayer Map highlighting the countries where our brothers and sisters now suffer for their faith in Jesus Christ. Our prayer map is updated each year and is ideal for hanging on an office wall at your home or workplace. Contact our office and we will be happy to send you one.
